This series is part of ongoing work subtitled Migration in Armley. Women who have migrated to Armley are photographed with plants and animals that tell stories of world migration across all species.
Plants that are considered invasive, hybrid religion and cultures and animals that evolve and acclimatise to foreign territories are all a part of our changing environment.
Comings and Goings questions the concepts of foreign vs indigenous and points out the connections between all living things; and from a standpoint of a northern industrial community, Comings and Goings also tells the story of our constantly moving and changing world.
